All pieces are handmade in Canada, guaranteed for life, and have a solution in place for when they reach the end of their life, reflecting the brand's commitment to sustainability.

IMPACT - REPURPOSING WASTE

BEDI Studios tackles the issue of landfill waste by repurposing discarded materials into something new and useful. Automotive scrap yards are a great source of materials that are still in perfect condition.

MATERIALS

ECONYL®

BEDI Studios uses ECONYL®, an Italian twill fabric made from discarded fishnets and carpet fiber waste, as the outer shell of their outerwear and bags. It is as durable as its more polluting counterpart, repurposing waste into an innovative and sustainable fabric.

Seatbelts

BEDI studios upcycles seatbelts from the Canadian automotive and aviation industries for bags and accents in clothing, providing sturdy and comfortable support to their products while repurposing materials that would otherwise end up in landfills.

ISOSOFT®

ISOSOFT®, a multi-layer insulation fabric used in BEDI Studios' outerwear, is created in Belgium and provides warmth without feeling too bulky. It performs exceptionally well under extreme weather conditions, keeping you warm up to -30°C. Lightweight and waterproof, it is the ideal material for the brand's sustainable outerwear.

COTTON

BEDI Studios' 100% cotton is farmed in North Carolina and milled in Canada to create heavyweight and durable knits. This material is an essential component of the brand's sustainable mission to use locally sourced materials.

YKK ZIPPERS

The Heavy-duty VISLON zippers by YKK, a Japanese brand, are used for BEDI Studios' outerwear and bags. The zippers are assembled locally in Canada for a sensibility to its design and an emphasis on durability.

    MILITARY-GRADE HARDWARE

All of Bedi's hardware is locally made in Canada and the U.S., ensuring the most common components to break down on jackets and bags are durable, robust, and long-lasting.
