APPLE LEATHER

Apple leather is created using 50% apple waste & 50% PU, coated onto a cotton/polyester canvas. The apple waste comes from the fruit juice and compote industry in Bolzano, Italy. By using renewable resources, the fabric requires a lot less water and generates considerably less CO2 compared to other leathers and faux leathers.

Organic Cotton has a significantly lower impact on the environment compared with regular cotton. Organic production systems replenish and maintain soil fertility, reduce the use of toxic and persistent pesticides and fertilizers, and build biologically diverse agriculture.
