How to Prepare for Your Made-to-Measure Appointment
Prepare for Your Appointment
Thank you for scheduling your appointment. Whether you're meeting us in person or virtually, we've prepared a few helpful tips to ensure a smooth and successful experience.
In-Person Appointments
To ensure the most accurate fit and a comfortable consultation, we kindly suggest the following:
-
Footwear: Bring the type of shoes you intend to wear with your garments (especially for pants or long skirts) so we can measure the proper length.
-
Undergarments: Wear the same or similar undergarments you plan to wear under the finished piece. This is especially important for structured garments like blazers or tailored dresses.
-
Lightweight Base Layer: A thin top or camisole is best for ease of measurement.
-
Reference Garments: Feel free to bring along any items you love the fit of—like a favorite shirt, blazer, trousers, or jeans—to help us understand your preferences.
-
Time: Please allow approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour for your appointment.
Remote Appointments
If you’ve booked a virtual consultation, we’ll guide you through every step of the process. For sessions that include measurements, we recommend having the following on hand:
-
A measuring tape (easily found at most pharmacies, fabric shops, or big-box stores)
-
A notebook and pen to jot down reference points
-
A second person to assist with taking measurements accurately
-
A well-lit space and access to a mirror, if possible
We’ll make it simple and seamless—no experience necessary. Just follow our lead, and we’ll take care of the rest.
